Yoga x Clay- November 16, 2024 - 9:00-11:00 am
Join Katie of The Grief Ritual and Emily at Wonderland & Sea for one hour of yoga, movement, and meditation followed by a one hour clay workshop.
Katie will be guiding us through a yoga flow and meditation as we explore the movement in our bodies and how the air flows through us like the tide ebbs and flows.
Following our yoga movement, we will be using our hands to transform slabs of clay to make an incense bowl with YOUR OWN personal touch!
Emily will be your guide through the one hour step by step hand-building workshop. Learn basic ceramic terms and techniques as you experience the wonder of making something beautiful for your personal meditation space. Pieces will be completed to the greenware stage (not fired) by the end of the workshop. You will choose from several glaze options. Emily will then take them back to her studio and complete the glazing and firing process over 3 weeks. Finished pieces will be picked up at Emily's Studio in Pt. Pleasant.

1 Hour clay workshop
Use Slab Building techniques to create a personalized incense bowl with your own designs, step by step instructions provided
Choose from one of Emily’s glaze choices. Pieces will be taken to Twin Fish Pottery Studio to be glazed and fired.
Upon final firing, pieces will be returned to Embodied Physical Therapy where they can be picked up during business hours. You will be notified via e-mail when pieces are ready for pick up at Embodied Physical Therapy
**You will not leave the workshop with your piece- it needs to be fired and glazed.
