Q: Can I request a custom order?
A: No, sorry, we are not taking custom orders at this time.
Shipping & delivery
Q: Where do you ship?
A: We currently ship across the U.S. (and internationally upon request). If you're outside the U.S., reach out before placing an order.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Most in-stock items ship within 3–5 business days. Made-to-order items may take 3–5 weeks. Shipping speed depends on your location and selected shipping method.
Q: How is your pottery packaged for shipping?
A: Very carefully! We use protective and recycled packaging to ensure your pottery arrives safe and sound.
Returns & Exchanges
Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?
A: Because each piece is handmade, we typically do not accept returns. However, if your item arrives damaged or you’re unhappy for any reason, please contact us within 48 hours and we’ll make it right.
Q: What if my item arrives broken?
A: Oh no! If your item arrives damaged, please email us (hello@twinfishpottery.com) a photo of the item and packaging within 48 hours so we can file a claim and send a replacement or refund.
Q: Is your pottery food-safe?
A: Yes! All of our functional pieces are food-safe, lead-free, and glazed for everyday use.
Q: Can I put your pottery in the dishwasher or microwave?
A: Most of our pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe, but we recommend hand-washing for longevity. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking.

Q: Do you offer pottery workshops?
A: Yes! We offer hands-on workshops for all skill levels — whether you’re a total beginner or looking to refine your technique. Our workshops are a fun, creative way to get your hands in some clay and learn the basics of wheel throwing, hand-building, or glazing.
Q: How do I sign up for a workshop?
A: Workshop registration is available through our Workshops page. Just select the class you're interested in, choose your date, and complete checkout to reserve your spot.
Q: What’s included in the workshop?
A: Each session includes all materials, tools, instruction, and firing of your pieces. You’ll come back to pick it up once it's fired and glazed!
Q: Can I cancel or reschedule my workshop?
A: Cancellations must be received within 48 hours of purchase to receive a full refund. Due to limited space and materials preparation, we’re unable to offer refunds or rescheduling after that window. However, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend if you can’t make it!
Q: Where are workshops held?
A: All workshops are held at our partner stores or sometimes in our cozy Point Pleasant, NJ studio. Each workshop listing includes the location of the workshop, so be sure to pay attention before booking. Directions and details will be emailed to you after registration.
